Reflection
We vastly underestimate the energy required to produce our everyday products.
Today, around 80% of the world’s primary energy still comes from coal, oil and natural gas (fossil fuels).
But replacing fossil fuel use alone is not enough. Renewable energy requires much more mining that is harmful to the environment and communities.
We need to reduce our overall consumption, shorten supply chains and buy local to restore our environment and build healthier villages based on real relationships.
